Silo Patchwork

Describe a sound and Patchwork builds the route: plugin chain, exact settings, signal flow, bill of materials, and numbered steps. It is the fastest path from reference language to a repeatable studio setup.

The current library is intentionally built from Ayan's personal production knowledgebase. It will expand weekly with new chains, notes, and field-guide updates, with more mix engineers joining the Patchwork brain soon.

What it returns

A practical patch, not a vague suggestion.

The workfile ships a recipe engine, desktop app, and static web app. The web surface works as a describe-a-sound recipe browser, while the desktop build keeps plugin scanning and clip analysis local.

Describe a sound

Type references like Juno-60 pad, trap 808, gospel piano, or lead vocal chain and get a matched recipe from the Silo inventory.

Build the chain

Patchwork turns the match into routing, inserts, sends, placement notes, cautions, and practical step-by-step setup.

Keep audio local

The desktop app is designed around local analysis and scanning, so clips and plugin inventory do not need to leave the machine.

Knowledgebase

Ayan's ear first, more engineers next.

Patchwork is currently based on Ayan's own studio knowledgebase: the plugins, routing instincts, genre references, cautions, and setup notes he would reach for when building a sound.

The library will receive weekly updates, and the system is designed to grow as more mix engineers contribute their own chains, field notes, and practical build recipes.

Built from the local Silo Patchwork workfile: a monorepo with a pure TypeScript recipe engine, Electron desktop shell, and deployable static web app.
