1) Capture (tiny fragments count)

  • 1-line hooks
  • Melody hums
  • Chords
  • Story beats

2) Draft fast (get a full song skeleton)

Draft a verse/chorus structure quickly. Don’t perfect. You’re just building something you can revise.

3) Revise with intent

  • What is the song about in one sentence?
  • What line is the “title line”?
  • Does the chorus earn its repetition?

4) Bridge to production

Turn lyric notes into production tasks: “record scratch vocal”, “find tempo”, “arrange intro”, “add harmony”.

5) Release-ready checklist

Songs don’t release themselves. A checklist turns finishing into something reliable: exports, artwork, metadata, and final QA.

Where Silo fits

Silo is a workflow layer for musicians with community energy: capture ideas quickly, organize the plan, and get to release-ready without losing momentum.
