If you finish songs but stall at the last mile, you don’t need more motivation — you need a checklist you can trust. This is a release-ready checklist for musicians (bedroom producers + singer-songwriters).
1) Final audio exports
- Final master (WAV) + a listening version (MP3/AAC) for quick review.
- Instrumental + clean edit (if you need them for sync/content).
- Stems (optional) if you collaborate or plan remixes.
2) Metadata
- Artist name + featured artists (exact spelling & casing).
- Track title, version tags (Radio Edit / Remix), explicit flag.
- ISRC/UPC (if applicable) + credits: writers, producers, mix/master.
3) Artwork + visuals
- Cover art in the right dimensions (and safe margins).
- Canvas/short visual loop (optional) + thumbnails.
4) Release assets (what you actually post)
- Short pitch: 1 sentence + a longer story/meaning note.
- Lyric snippet / hook timestamps / content prompts.
- Links you’ll use: pre-save / smart-link / profile links.
5) QA pass
- Listen start-to-finish on headphones + speakers.
- Check loudness consistency vs your references.
- Confirm file naming so you don’t ship the wrong version.
6) Handoff (distribution is coming soon)
